Dialogue: A means to lasting and sustainable peace

Suleiman From the onset, when the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), brokered the negotiations that lead to the release of Chibok girls who were held captive by the Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) for more than 3years. I celebrated with the abductees, their parents, Chibok community and Borno state people as a whole for the reunion of the innocent girls with their loved ones. But however, i was thoughtful that the kidnapping business would be the most interesting venture for the BHT to dive in, in continuing their quest for reinforcement, the release of the girls most be in exchange of a handsome ransom, which might likely be; an exchange with frontline combatant, or a huge amount of money, or the withdrawal of military might in certain areas of BHT stronghold. NECSOB's ANNUAL CONGRESS MEETING

By A.A.Suleiman , The Network of Civil Soceity Organizations, NECSOB Borno State, has just concluded its annual congress meeting, top on the event is the Mapping of CSOs by the Presidential Committee of the Northeast Initiative (PCNI), dignitries in attendance includes the United Nations Deputy Humianitarian  Coordinator and Head of office of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), Northeast, Mr. Caeser, the representatives of United Nations Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), INGO forum and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) among others.
